Blood Bike Jo

At the launch of the then, SSBB, back in January 2014, a local Shropshire family, the Harris’s, donated £12,000 to our charity which allowed the purchase of two second hand Pan European 1300’s which were converted to blood bikes. Those two bikes were names Joanne and Jo Jo in memory the Harris’s daughter Joanne, who had passed away with serious health issues whilst awaiting treatment in the USA.
Joanne and Jo Jo were finally retired from the fleet having served us well. The sale proceeds were utililised to purchase a brand new bike which was named Jo, as chosen by her parents, in memory of their beloved daughter.
