Blood Bike Imogen

We have been supporting the community nursing team in Staffordshire with sample collections from the homes of some very poorly children. We supported a young lady called Imogen Evans from Uttoxeter with such deliveries, as she had a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma.
On the 22nd September 2016 Imogen sadly passed away, aged just 10 years. Local residents including SSBB rider Phil Hudson got together, to talk about how they could do something in Imogen’s name. And they discovered “The Big Heath Local” a lottery funded charity, which gives money to local good causes around Uttoxeter. Following our presentation to The Big Heath Local they agreed to fund the purchase of a bike.
